President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Kyiv was hit hardest and that residential buildings, a kindergarten, and the city's Northern Bridge were damaged. Ukrainian officials said Russia fired more than 170 drones and more than 30 ballistic missiles. Negotiators from Ukraine, Russia, and the United States are scheduled to meet next week in Abu Dhabi. Russia's defense ministry, as quoted by outlets, said its forces struck what it described as military-industrial, energy, and transport targets in and around Kyiv.
